About the event
Come join Women's Rights Matter on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM for an exciting event - Canada's first-ever women-centred speaker's corner! Everyone is welcome to this free event, but we are especially excited about providing a platform for women to share their voices. Men are welcome, too, and we appreciate your support in prioritizing women's participation. Please sign up in advance so we can ensure we have everything ready for the big day. If you can come on the day of the event, please bring period products for the Period Product Drive we are holding. The period products will be donated to a local women's shelter.
If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute a donation to help us pay for the event, you can do so here. Alternatively, please consider donating to our Period Product Drive that we are holding the day of the event.
We will be live streaming the event on both Facebook and YouTube for those who want to take part but are unable to attend in person.
